What’s Up Next At the Lady Denman?
After the hugely successful Craft of Model Shipwrights exhibition, in June, the Lady Denman Maritime and Heritage Museum in Huskisson Jervis Bay will soon be running a spectacular exhibition entitled,
Jervis Bay Alive ---- It’s Who we are!
Jervis Bay is one of Australia’s most important marine environments. It has historic, cultural and environmental value that attracts many thousands of visitors each year.
Featured at the multiple award winning Lady Denman Heritage Complex between 22nd September to and 2nd December, Jervis Bay Alive will be a magnificent and exciting multi-media exhibition featuring in essence ‘a day in the life’ of Jervis Bay, above and below the ocean. It will be an educational resource for residence and visitors of all ages and it will provide a valuable outlet for artists and others to present their vision of the Marine Park.
Displays will feature underwater photography, information on the Bay and its environments, local artists and photographers’ work.
Other live activities will include
An introduction to snorkelling in Jervis Bay
An introduction to bird watching on Currambene Creek
A Bush tucker tour and numerous live talks.
